Chris has been at the center of stormwater engineering in Escambia County for more than two decades, most recently serving as the county’s Stormwater Engineering Manager from 2013 to 2021. Over the course of his public service career, Chris has worked on projects across the county, secured millions of dollars to support stormwater improvement projects, and interacted with hundreds of local residents and key public officials. He’s deeply familiar with flooding: In his work with the county, Chris played an active role in recovery from numerous major flood events, including the April 2014 floods and Hurricane Sally.
Chris graduated from Auburn University, and is a member of the Florida Engineering Society, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association, and the Florida Stormwater Association.
